First Annual Assistive Technology Evening
You are invited to join ASSETS Host Committee!
ASSETS is creating a community based assistive technology lab! Staffed by ASSETS employees and based in an established community location, we will provide training to users, teachers, parents and caregivers in all aspects of assistive technology.
Key components include:
A technology exchange and sharing of both new and used technology
A lending library of devices and literature
Advocacy information and research assistance
Our main fundraising event to support this effort, we host a dinner and auction in the Spring. Our Host Committee members will assist us in gathering auction items and selling tickets. We are assembling a great group of folks to help us meet our goals. We would love for you to come to the kickoff meeting and learn for yourself how fun and easy this can be!
